Are you ready to take your music to the world? Have you been looking for the means to get your tunes into the ears of soon to be fans? Where can people go to discover new artist and bands that are actually worth watching and listening to?
Band of Me is a website designed to tackle these problems and give Musicians the ability to take their music to stardom! Essentially a music video sharing website, Band of Me allows users to browse videos by their choice of Genre or Instrument. For example, should a user want to watch videos of up and coming bands, users simply click on the bands tab and then select the genre that they choose. If a user loves Guitar videos, then the user would follow the same sequence of events: click on Guitar Videos, then either start watching videos or select the genre to narrow down the search. The same applies to Drum Videos, Bass Videos, Singing Videos, Piano Videos, DJ Videos, and many more.
Users rate each video which allows the talent to fall where it deserves! This gives a voice to the fans and other musicians that they would never before have had. Sorting through the ratings, Band of Me ranks each video from the “must see” to the “fantastically awful”. Either way, the users determine the success of videos.
Band of Me is also at essence a social networking site for both Musicians and Fans. Musicians are able to network with either similar artists that they enjoy or would like to collaborate. Case in point, if a guitarist is looking to assemble a band, Band of Me provides the perfect setting to find talent. They could view videos of drummers, bassists, vocalists, keyboardists, find the talent, contact, and collaborate . This would open many more avenues to musicians instead of the old word of mouth tactic. Musicians are no longer limited to their small local community. Band of Me creates an environment for Musicians to grow to stardom outside of their own community.
